Happy new year and all that assorted jazz! Thanks so much for all the continued support throughout 2022! We're gonna keep things rolling in 2023 and are pleased to welcome another fresh addition to our roster- Adam Reid & The In-Betweens! Calling Western Massachusetts home, Adam Reid & the In-Betweens is an indie/folk rock project helmed by, you guessed it, Adam Reid. He's performed solo and with a band in the US, UK and Argentina. “The Numbers Keep Repeating” is due out Thursday February 2 on cassette/digital and will be the fifth AR&TI-B (you know we like our abbreviations!) album since 2010. You can pre-order “The Numbers Keep Repeating” from our WEB STORE or our BANDCAMP right now and get the lead single 'Someday Soon We'll All Be Gone' as an immediate download! Our bandcamp sampler also features the very same song. AR&TI-B will be celebrating the release of the album on February 3rd at Ten Forward in Greenfield, MA. Discomfort Creature's "S/T" (self-titled) LP is officially out now in the US-of-A! As previously mentioned, it's a remastered and expanded edition of the band's debut self-titled EP that was released in 2021 and includes 3 bonus tracks plus a revised running order. If you missed the pre-order, you can still grab the LP on 12" orange vinyl (digital download included) or as a standalone digital long player from our WEB STORE or our BANDCAMP. Hit song alert! SPELLS has a brand-new digital single out today and it's called "Don't Tell Me Anything". It's a pay-what-you-want track with all proceeds benefiting The Blue Bench, a Denver-based organization working to eliminate sexual assault and diminish the impact it has on individuals, their loved ones and our community through comprehensive issue advocacy, prevention and care. You can donate and download "Don't Tell Me Anything" from our WEB STORE, our BANDCAMP and of course SPELLS' BANDCAMP. This new SPELLS tune is also noteworthy as it's the first recording to feature the band's highly energetic and fantastically talented new member, Dusk Monarch. In addition to that factoid the track also features Stephanie Byrne, the powerhouse front woman for SLN labelmates Cheap Perfume. This collab was years in the making and we're all happy to finally have it out in the world with the added opportunity to support The Blue Bench, a local cause we all believe in. This song won't arrive on streaming platforms until January 5 (2023!), so go on... treat yourself to an awesome new jam ahead of the streamers and help your community while doing so. The band hails from both Denver, CO, USA and Lugano, Ticino, Switzerland and hops back and forth between the two regions to double the impact of their rock and toll precision. Discomfort Creature features some of our oldest buddies in the biz- Chris Fogal, Ian O'Dougherty and Dan Fox (band members' credits include The Gamits, Uphollow, Little Thunder, plus lots more) playing a high-energy brand of garagey pop-punk with songs that are chock full of hooks and harmonies that get stuck in your head for weeks. Loyal followers likely know the deal, but FANGIRL Issue #2 features the latest SLN roster addition, The Smokestack Relics. There are interviews, photos, factoids and more that ‘Stacks fans old and new will dig. The included yellow translucent 7” flexi disc features The Smokestack Relics performing the song 'Anatomy Of A Wolf', which is a foot-stompin’-hand-clappin’-sing-alongin’ good time.
