From dive-bar rock & roll to space-rock-dusted punk, Bud Bronson & the Good Timers have traversed a universe of sonic exploration over their 11-year career. BBGT enters 2023 with "Return Of The Black Flamingo Band", a 22-minute rock odyssey that pushes further into new stratospheres while doubling down on what’s made the band a rock-fans-fan-favorite for over a decade: classic rock guitar worship, lyrics that split the atom between celebration and despair, and an undying commitment to driving forward. BBGT will be back with SLN and we'll be teaming up with our good pals Motorcycle Potluck Records to press "Return Of The Black Flamingo Band" onto vinyl, combined with 2020's prog-punk opus "Manifest Fantasy". The complete product, officially dubbed "BBGT III", offers a complete summary of the most recent era of the band. The official release date is April 20, 2023 and the band will be having a huge party at Denver's Hi-Dive on April 21 to celebrate. Trends may pass, people change, and the world spins on. The BBGT is forever! The LP will be available on 12” random eco mix color vinyl and come with a free download. Pre-orders for the vinyl and/or digital are now open in our WEB STORE and on our BANDCAMP. All formats include an immediate download of "BBGT III". This is the only way to get "Return Of The Black Flamingo Band" in your ears before the official release date. "Manifest Fantasy" is already on all the streamies and "Return Of The Black Flamingo Band" won't hit until the official release date. Denver, CO post-metal superstars Native Daughters have just digitally re-released their first two albums via SLN! That's right, "War Elephant" and "Master Manipulator" are back as digital long players on all streaming services after being temporarily unavailable. We've also made them available for download through our WEB STORE as well as our BANDCAMP in case you need them for your digital library. Both "War Elephant" (2012) and "Master Manipulator" (2016) were originally released on multiple formats via Sailor Records, another fine Denver imprint. We're pleased to be the home for two more excellent Native Daughters records. Who knows... maybe there will be some vinyl reissues for one or both of those albums down the line. They've been out of print for too dang long if you ask us or any ND fan. For now, we can all enjoy the 1's & 0's in our earholes from a variety of very acceptable sources!

Howdy out there! Just wanted to let y'all know that the first vinyl pressing of the "Burn It Down" LP by Cheap Perfume is officially sold out. Fear not though! A second pressing of the album on randomly mixed eco color vinyl is now in stock. If you don't have a copy of the 12" LP yet, or if you're a completest, grab one from our WEB STORE or from our BANDCAMP. This pressing run is 200 copies and a download of the album is still included. Cheap Perfume continues to perform all along Colorado's Front Range and songs from "Burn It Down" are staples in their incendiary live show.

Lawsuit Models has just released a brand-new digital single! It's called 'No Big Loss' and it's a pay-what-you-want track. 'No Big Loss' was previously a bonus track with purchase of the album "Unknown Ghosts". Now you can have it as a single if you missed out or love it twice as much as any other Lawsuit Models song! We love surprises and we hope you do too, dear reader! Please welcome Gray Vines to the SLN family. They bring with them the brand new "Young Hearts" EP, which is officially out today. Not a whole lot is known about Gray Vines. We know they’re from Denver, CO. We know this EP was recorded in 2019. We know we were asked to hold the release indefinitely four years ago. Then we got asked to release it now-ish. The only other thing we know is that this project is a duo featuring Ben Roy and Chuck Coffey of the band SPELLS. Oh, also- we really know most everything about this entire project, but the guys were all like, “keep it vague”. So… "Young Hearts" is available as a single sided stereo lathe cut 12" on clear vinyl with hand stamped & numbered jackets featuring adapted cover art and digital is included of course. The EP can also be snagged as just a digital extended player which features the original full color cover art. You can obtain your preferred format from our WEBSTORE or from our BANDCAMP. The 12" will just be available for mail order initially as there are only 25 copies total. Should there be any left after the first few weeks, look for them to pop up in all the usual spots (Recess Ops, Denver record shops, etc). The EP is also on all the standard digital/streaming sites if you like to jam your jams that way and you can scope the title track on our BANDCAMP SAMPLER. Gray Vines hasn't played their brand of folky Americana indie rock in a live setting yet, but we're pretty sure that won't be the case much longer. Stay tuned!
