Fans of Bricheros will recognize the two song-specific winks in the news headline, but it's basically just a clever(?) way of saying that the "Live At Hensley" 10" is out now! This record is a live LP of the band at the height of their powers at the now defunct but always legendary Bar Hensley in their hometown of Lima, Peru. Bricheros have also been calling Colorado and sometimes California home as well for awhile, but getting such a great live set recorded at such a well-loved place from where they first got started in music was something special. You can hear it in the grooves. The 10" spins at 33.3 RPM and comes on blood red vinyl with a digital download included. As you may have heard, SPELLS and Hooper teamed up for a brand new split 7" that's the first in a new series. The deal is, two bands not only cover a song by each other, but record an original song written for them by the other band. So, what's the record called again?! Both SPELLS and Hooper recorded their tracks in 2019 and had them off to the pressing plant in 2020, but then, you know what happened. The band has a new live 10" that's coming out on 8/16/21 called (fittingly) "Live At Hensley".
