Hello out there! We're excited to share that we have a fresh addition to our stellar roster- The Ape-ettes! Emerging from the depths of Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, The Ape-ettes are a garage-pop trio comprised of long-time friends: Andrée on bass, Melanie on drums and Julie on guitar and vocals. These girls have the gift of pumping out infectious tunes with their spirited less-is-more approach. The Ape-ettes will be releasing a brand new 7"/Digital Extended Player entitled "Simply" on July 13. The cover art reads as "Simply The Ape-ettes", but there's nothing too simple about how hard the 4 tracks rip. Pre-orders are up right now in our WEBSTORE as well as on our BANDCAMP. You can choose between clear w/ red & blue splatter vinyl or sky blue vinyl! We’re excited to be releasing this in conjunction with Reta Records, a one-woman DIY record label based out of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It's the first of what we hope to be many collabs with the ace imprint. Check out our bandcamp sampler to listen to the lead single from "Simply", 'Hearing Protection'. The track will also come as an immediate download with any pre-orders of the soon-to-be smash hit 7" from The Ape-ettes. Greetings friends and fans! We’re thrilled to tell you that FANGIRL #3, featuring Cheap Perfume, will be released on July 7, 2023! If you're new to the FANGIRL zine, here's the scoop: FANGIRL is Colorado’s niftiest fan-zine. Each issue features one Colorado band, selected by the editorial staff. There’s a wealth of band info, record reviews and a unique multi-part interview. As a bonus, each issue comes with a 7” flexi disc with music by the featured band. How cool is all of that?!... It’s FANGIRL cool!! Issue #3, printed by View Shed Studio, is all about longtime SLN family members Cheap Perfume. The flexi disc/digital single features the band performing the brand new song, 'Blood On Your Hands'. The Cheap Perfume "Blood On Your Hands" FANGIRL #3 Zine + Flexi Disc 7" Combo is now available for pre-order via our WEB STORE as well as our BANDCAMP. ‘Blood On Your Hands’, which is catalogued as SLN-238, will also be available as a standalone digital single (hint: zine pre-orders get the single right away). It's exclusive to FANGIRL, SLN and the band themselves! 'Blood On Your Hands' will not be up on the usual streamables, so ya gotta go directly to the creative sources for the snarling hiss of Cheap Perfume's latest crusher. Hello humans and other life forms capable of enjoying music! Today is release day for the third Night Court album, “Humans!”. It's available as a classic black 12" vinyl LP and digital long player, co-released once again with Canada's excellent Debt Offensive Records. Grab “Humans!” from our WEB STORE and/or our BANDCAMP if you didn't already hop on the pre-order from a few weeks ago. This latest Night Court LP is distributed by Recess Ops and will soon be found in Denver and Vancouver area record stores. You might remember that there are 100 copies of the vinyl that include a limited edition numbered band zine. We are out of our copies that come with the zine, but Green Noise Records currently has a few in stock as exclusive retail editions. Even if you miss grabbing a copy with a zine, we can guarantee that the LP sans zine is still a must-have delight! A brand-new SPELLS collection album, "Loose Change, Vol. 2", is set to come out on June 29, 2023. “LCV2” contains early SPELLS material that has gone out of print or was only released digitally.This is the second SPELLS collection album and many of these songs are making their first appearance on vinyl. Each track has been expertly remastered for optimal aural stimulation. “LCV2” will be available as a 12” vinyl LP on "Dolphin" crystal clear/solid blue vinyl and "Dracula" transparent red/black vinyl (with download), as well as a standalone digital long player.“Loose Change, Vol. 2" is up for pre-order in our WEBSTORE and on our BANDCAMP.
